Have a good offense than a good defense in modern college basketball I guess. Even if you have a bad defense it’s not that much worse than teams with a good defense. But a bad offense is soo much worse than a good offense and affects the end score much more than the difference between good and bad defenses.

There are very few exceptions to this it seems (like Houston and a few truly awful defenses).
