It will be an incredibly short time before law jobs are at risk. There will
always be a need for lawyers, but the amount of research, writing, deposition summaries, etc. will be cut down drastically within 5-10 years. Pointing out the fact that AI hallucinates court cases is just a bug that will be ironed out in very little time. Westlaw and Lexis are already developing AI, and it will just be a matter of time before it will be required use.
I would be very hesitant to become a lawyer right now unless you have a specific reason.
