I don’t think they get credit for that either. Texas just happened to be good this year.

This series was scheduled following Texas’s 7-6 season in 2017. That was their first winning season since 2013. Alabama scheduled them after seeing that they weren’t any good for several seasons, but they’re a big TV draw.
