- Large fan base who has high expectations of all sports
- High academic standards and high enrollment demand from in state and out of state applicants
- Largely hated by conference peers for being a little too "cocky" or "prudish" because we have standards. (albeit ours are religious and theirs are not).
- Huge alumni and sponsor base to tap often and hard

I feel like TTech, Ok State, Kansas(s) WV will eventually start hating BYU for similar reasons they hated Texas.
