There were many times over the last 3-4 games that she was hustling back and getting involved with the defense. It's part of what I feel like has really set her apart from last season because she is making that extra effort. I think that Boren does a better job of it, but labeling Brecken as avoiding defensive play is not accurate.

I agree on all the rest and think that Katoa on defense has really been MIA. Maybe that it not the roll she's meant to fill.

BYU really, really needs Shepherd to control the game. When she can possess the ball for extended periods and deliver passes that are on-target she is just outstanding. She's shown she can do it in the past. I hope she's ready for this week.
