Pull off the traditional drop back offense, just not as much as they used to. Defenses have gotten faster and more creative, one reason offenses have made the switch. All RPO does is allow one more major thing the defense has to account for.
If your team is excellent on the oline and you have a great drop back passer you will have great success in that offense.
But the majority of big time programs use the RPO these days
