Recruiting numbers at byu are a weak argument...

byu will never be strong with traditional recruiting numbers due to missions.

The transfer portal has been a game changer for schools that see its benefits. Byu continues to adapt to these new opportunities... and they're figuring out the pros/cons of using the portal, which also brings issues that are unforeseeable and will need adjustments.

Kalani has been able to sign great kids and really good transfers. It should only improve with more time in a P4 playing against the best.
