I think some rules in football need to be changed
I would ask:

1. Why do all players on offense have to be set for at least a second (except for one man in motion) when the ball is hiked, but any player on defense can be moving?

2. Why does the man in motion have to be running sideways or away from the line of scrimage when the ball is hiked?

3. Why are only some players eligible to run down field while others cannot?

4. Why must seven or more players be on the line when the ball is hiked?

5. "Attempt to deceive" - BYU vs Air Force 2009.

I don't understand the purpose of some of these rules. Many rules in today's rule book exist to protect the player's well-being (facemask, roughing the passer, blind-side blocks, clipping, etc.). Other rules seem to be arbitrary directives that continue because that's "what was decided long ago".
