I turn my phone off, stay off the internet for the most part, etc during games..

...basically I pretend it's still 1995 from a communications standpoint (other than slight delay on DVR) so no one jacks the game for me.

I like to wait about 30 mins after a game starts on my DVR and then it catches up to being live in the 3rd -4th Qtr when it matters for close games.
