started the 4th book by reading it, but relented and got the audiobook because I can get through the slow parts by listening while doing chores around the house. Overall, I think Brown does some annoying things with the 1st person narrative. I don't know why he thought it was a good idea to add 3 new 1st person narrators. It has taken me most of the book to care about what 2 of them have to say. Hopefully he doesn't add brand new 1st person characters in the remaining books. I think it would have been better had he gone with familiar characters instead of introducing the two that he did.
