I mean, at minimum Ty'Son picked up the first down, so it would have been 1st
and goal from the 2. So even if the refs should have blown that particularly play dead, I doubt it would have changed the outcome of the game. They really only have themselves to blame for giving up that long pass to Micah Simons AND giving up so much YAC with less than a minute left from BYU's own 20 or so.
