We just hired a contractor to come to my house to do some work

They were installing gutters and heat cables around our whole house. The total was like $2600. I had to leave before he finished so my wife was going to pay with credit card when they finished up. the screen had a place to tip and my wife tipped 15%. That's a $400 tip. To a contractor. I have never tipped a contractor before in my life. I am trying to not be angry about it.
