While I don't like term "Freak" - even for Giannis - there are other ways of putting it that are perhaps more friendly.
But I agree that people who play professional sports have a vastly different genetic makeup than the rest of us. You have to have the talent (genetics) and you have to have the effort and discipline, and generally you also need a little bit of luck to make it as well. Getting such genetics is a low probability event, which is probably why we are so amazed at what they can do. At the same time, each of us probably has other genetic markers that put us ahead of the average professional athlete in other areas.
