Years ago my mom was visiting and told us about this movie, saying it was a really good movie about a nazi boy that becomes friends with a jewish boy. Like an idiot, I think to myself that this will be a good WWII movie that doesn't punch you in the gut like all the others. We watched it with my mom and my two kids, one 10yo and one 12yo.

Needless to say, it did not turn out as expected, and I ended up needing to have a talk my 10yo son afterward to help him cope with what he had just watched. It freakin scarred both my kids.
