Gettysburg
I lived in northern VA a few years growing up, and saw some battlefields, re-enactments and memorials. It’s interesting stuff, and usually had some cannons, location charts with colored arrows depicting the scene, and maybe a museum/exhibit.
Didn’t get to Gettysburg until my 20’s, and was taken back by the scope and significance of that place.
