General motors committed $918 million to their sixth gen V8 engine. Tesla
Just committed 3.6 billion to their 4680 battery development/production and high volume Tesla Semi line.
It's going to be very interesting to see where both these companies are in 2030.

I have heard GM's CEO state they will be totally electric by 2035. It will be interesting to see if they get there.
