while my kids were with my ex. I rented a truck with a rooftop tent and camped around the island. I also got a permit to hike the entirety of the Kalalau Trail which was beyond amazing. I slept in a hammock on the beach at the end of the trail.

Anyways, I love Kauai. It has a piece of my soul. The food isn’t amazing and things shut down pretty early. But, man, I love that place.
