I use my impact drive just to snug the lugs, then a torque wrench to set the torque.

Ok car guys, I got an impact driver for Christmas. I've never had one. This is seriously a must-have for car guys.

How high can you set the torque? I assume 150lbs isn’t an issue?

Ah, ok. Cause my wheels are 150lb ft. I think 135-165 is acceptable.

That's in-lbs. So, 154 ft-lbs. If you are consistently going that high, I'd get an impact wrench, not driver.

My skid plates take FOREVER to take off for oil changes, so I'm especially looking forward to using this next time.
