I ALWAYS lose confidence in someone when they try to snow someone with a straw man.

As a fan, I have not signed up to be a better coach or player on the field. I do not claim that I could be a better coach or player but that does not mean I am incapable of seeing inept coaching.

Also, as a fan, I am a customer. If customers don’t voice their concerns…brands almost always become irrelevant.

It’s hard but coaches and players need to understand that fan criticism is a healthy barometer of where a team or program is at. Obviously fans can be unrealistic or take criticism too far, but there is still value in accepting fan pressure.
