This was a huge crowd today. I don't know if it's the biggest we’ve ever had, but it was the longest line. The line started at the normal spot (southeast stadium gate), covered that full side going north, then continued along the whole north side (and a little beyond that).
It was chilly, so the students were very grateful to warm up with some hot chocolate. We had 20 gallons of that, to go along with 35 dozen donuts. Unfortunately, I wasn’t expecting that large of a crowd, so the donuts didn’t quite reach everybody, However, the ROC leadership came through with Poptarts to cover those we missed.
We also had the BYU Women’s soccer team there to help out. They were great, and really made it go a lot faster.
Thanks again to all of you who have donated for this—we got a lot of donations, so we’re in good shape. I always make sure to tell them this isn’t just us, it’s all of you Cougar fans joining in to show them some love. And the best part is seeing how much they appreciate it, and how grateful they are. Thanks again, everybody!
Go Cougars!
Note: If you’re wondering where episode 3 went, that was the Utah State game, and I couldn’t be there. But Jefe was there and distributed donuts to a really good crowd.
And, again, thanks to the BYU Women's soccer team for helping today!
