we are 3-1 against the 13th toughest schedule in the country so far. At the end of the day, it's working and we win. If we had a more "fun to watch" defense, but had also lost to Baylor and were 2-2, would people be more happy? I want wins. Win pretty, win ugly, win close, win big, don't care. Just win baby.
In my opinion, the real issue is that the recruiting along the D line has been subpar for years, plus there's been some unlucky breaks (Troy Hinds, Langi, etc.). Need to keep some of the Siaki Ika's committed. This is the issue that really concerns me and is my bigger concern with Tuiaki. He doesn't seem to be able to sell his vision to elite D line prospects, so he's constantly trying to compensate with the personnel he has. That's a downward spiral.
