I’d buy a Toyota Camry or Honda Accord.
I’ve owned both and 2 Honda Odyssey’s. I’d buy a new Camry right now. I currently drive a 9 year old Camry and it is showing no signs of having any issues at all. Runs as smooth as a brand new car.

What would you buy for a vehicle that you want to last 7 to 10 years that will still hold the best value at that point?

It would be a plus and I would consider it but it is not as critical for me as it would be for you.
