Several years ago he just casually walked in to LCs BBQ prior to a Royals game, just a regular old guy getting some grub in the pre-game crowd. Many people probably didn't even know who he was, and he didn't have that big star vibe (granted, he was no young pup).

Very likeable person from that standpoint.
