An O-6 wrote a scathing email to the base commander including the relative salaries of everyone in the room and how much tax payer money we just wasted listening to that crap that wouldn't do one bit of good for anyone then deployed in harms way.

I don't remember the figure, but it was a lot of money. Not one officer was below 0-4. Most of the civilians were at least that level, too.
