My son is on the spectrum with what's formerly referred to as Asperger's. I'm told it's actually pretty common for those with the condition, but the kid just doesn't want to read fiction.

But that leaves us the inane "100 Wildlife Facts You Didn't Know" type books, that don't teach him how to actually read for vocabulary, context, plot, and character development.

Ideas?
