That was my dream car as a teen. Was a beautifully restored one for sale w/ white top

& porthole window at local lot. My mom put a match box one just like it in my stocking that Christmas. Not sure if that was thoughtful or cruel. 🤔

Too bad Ford surrendered. Would be nice to have a competitor to the Vette.

Ford gave up on the tbird as a sports car in 58. They still have the Shelby Cobra and GT. But, the Vette is king.
