RE: Playing all P5 opponents means H/H with 12 road games without TV revenue.
Playing all P5 teams does mean a H/H with the other team but it ultimately gives you just as many B12 home games for revenue as the 6 games total you get from those 12 teams playing each other. Six home games is the least number of games you'd get with an extra OOC game. If they play like the SEC, you end up with 10-12 B12 home games.
