Find a way to make eye contact, give them a nod, and flash the Y. Acknowledge
But don’t bother. That’s always worked for me. On rare occasions, they’ll come talk to you and if they aren’t interested they’ll nod back.
Maybe next time I should offer them $50 for an autograph???
