hated profession. As a professor, I am lazy, complaining and not nearly as smart as those people who go out into the world and actually do it, whereas I can only teach it. I certainly don't work during the summer, and my publications in A-level journals cannot count because I am at a smaller teaching school, which is defined differently on this board than how academic circles actually use the term. But despite this, I acknowledge that I am not even in the top-10 most mocked professions on this board. So I cannot truly understand how you feel but fully support you in your decision to be on the board less often for the sake of your mental health. I can honestly say, I did like my realtor and hit him up for data all the time to use in my real estate finance class. So you are in a safe space with me my friend.

I would be interested to actually know what the most hated profession is on this board, but am too intellectually slow to figure out how to create a poll.
