I won’t pretend to be a prognosticator how her skills will translate to the highest levels of women’s D-1 basketball, but she was one of those players who simply looked different than everyone else in her movements and skill set. Athletic with solid handles, pulls up and drills 3’s effortlessly off the dribble while being guarded. Tremendous competitor that completely carried her program. Everyone knew to stop Amari. I saw no one come close to succeeding at the last two state tourneys.
No idea whether she’ll flip to BYU, but she’d be fun to watch if she did.
