BYU grads are much better at science… and yes, also making money*. Though Utah’s graduate programs do produce a
comparatively small number of excellent science graduates, more than BYU graduate programs, the large majority of students at both universities are undergraduates.
And those from BYU are much better than those from Utah in science as well as most other majors.
*Don’t know for sure average income among all graduates, and I’m pretty sure a higher percentage of BYU graduates choose not to work after graduation, but among those who choose earn money, I’m very confident BYU graduates earn more on average. Hence, better at it.
