Agree. FIL has a Plaid. I hated the steering wheel and really didn't like the
regenerative braking (felt really jerky).. Plus I hated the single touch screen. I'm sure once you had it all figured out and voice automated it would be fine, but I struggled even just turning the blinker on/off or figuring out how to put the car in neutral.

To me there wasn't that "luxurious feel" w/ it and I didn't like how it handled on turns, ect. So would be hard to drop that kind of cash on it. But oh man, it's acceleration was insane.

I had a Taycan 4S where you still got the luxury feel/handling but it felt slow after driving the Plaid.

With that said, I also kind of started feeling that these EVs can be dangerous. Not in top speed driving, but other people aren't use to your acceleration and sometimes I found myself becoming a little too cavalier (hitting it to make a light, pass a car).

Will be interesting when more and more drivers have that at their disposal.

Personally I might go with a Tesla in the next few years (maybe even a cyber truck), but won't touch any other manufacturer until the range can be improved.
