One round difference is greater difference in money than 1 year
For instance, a rookie salary for a 2nd rounder is 3.7 million. It's under 1 million for 3rd round.

Increasing stock by a round could be significant windfall in money in the long run. Far more than missing one year as a lower draft pick.

Tyler has weaknesses......particularly in pass blocking and receiving (relative weaknesses). Coming back and dominating in those areas next year could be a gamechanger.

Like I said, it depends on feedback. If it's suggested he needs to show improvement and doing so could give him a good bump then coming back may be advisable.
