I've had a lower end sports car for four years and only been pulled over once. I drive very aggressively.
And that one time I only got a warning . Tires aren't a big deal because I buy ones with warranties and it's just prorated. I only get 20k miles on each set but really doesn't cost me more. And besides, if you are worried about economy in tires and gas buy a camry.
