I don’t know… I see this a little differently… like

If a guy was running a marathon and you were a couple paces behind him and he dropped a water bottle, you picked it up and say tough luck buddy. How much are you willing to pay to get it back. Kind of tool ish IMO.

On the other side…. You could rationalize it by saying hey the company let the name lapse so in essence they tossed the name away and you picked it up. Finders keepers I guess.
