The competition is only marginally better in the AAC.
And media coverage would be crap regardless of which G5 conference we joined.
This is why I’m increasingly uninterested in college football. It’s a cartel controlled farce designed specifically to make money and secure control for the P5 conference members. The new playoff system will just funnel more power, more money, and more recruits into the elite conferences. Nearly half of all FCS teams will be fighting amongst themselves for a single bid, a tiny crum off the table while the other half feasts on 11 bids.
No thanks. I wouldn’t jump into bed with the likes of Memphis, East Carolina, Houston and the rest off the AAC rabble in hopes I could get my hands on that ridiculous little crum. I hope BYU has more self respect than that.
