a great day in my life. I hated scouts, campouts, my troop, my leaders, etc. I can actually remember the moment sitting at the dinner table when they told me I didn't have to go any longer. I was so relieved. That being said...I know it is great for some kids and my oldest son did get his Eagle. I have spent a lot of years working in YM, but really couldn't ever push the scout thing because of my bad experience. I have had some absolutely awesome YM over the years...some did scouts, some didn't....but wow were they awesome YM and are now great men, husbands, and fathers. Scouts just wasn't for me and caused me more anxiety than anything positive that I ever got out of it.

However, I do really wish I would have learned to play the piano and still might try in my later years.
