Everyone is always saying how they regret quitting piano. Is anyone else like me and is glad they quit and has never
regretted it? I think I was about 7 or 8 when I started. I was allowed to quit once I accompanied a priesthood opening exercises hymn. I accomplished that with Sweet Hour of Prayer when I was like 12 and then I was done. I played the trumpet in middle school band for two years. So I know theory and can read music. On my mission I played Come Follow Me at one of our convert baptisms. I'm good with that level of ability. Playing with both hands never came naturally to me and I hate practicing. Now that my 3 kids are taking lessons, I'm even more grateful that my mom didn't force me to keep playing after that point.
