down unit. She excitedly told me that she took care of a patient that was famous and that I knew who this person was. But as a newly-minted nurse, she was emphatic that she couldn't tell me anything more because she didn't want to violate HIPAA. The next day the news reported that Lavell Edwards was receiving treatment for a heart attack and it was easy enough to put two and two together. But even after I told her I figured it out, she refused to confirm or deny that's who she had cared for. Actually, even though he's been dead now for several years, she STILL refuses to tell me LOL.
