home from school today (she is in 1st grade) and started sobbing uncontrollably. Found out a girl in her class bullied her again today. She pushed her twice and gave her mean looks both times. This happened when she was trying to walk in between a couple of students and the bully was one of them. This same girl has been bullying my daughter for a few weeks that I know about by telling her if she wants to play with another girl in the class (that the bully is friends with too) then my daughter has to race her and win. We contacted her teacher a couple weeks ago after this first incident that she also came home sobbing about, and the teacher sat down the 3 girls and talked about it, and we thought this would stop-until today when it got worse. I already have an email in to the teacher to call me, I told her to call me today.
My wife and I are both very upset about this, and apparently this bully has a history of bullying other kids as well. I am going to tell the teacher that if she hasn't contacted the bully's parents and have a very serious discussion with them (we asked her to do this the first time but not sure if she did) then she absoltuely needs to do it today. If this happens again I am going to get the principle involved and I am going to request to personally meet with the bullies parents. This needs to stop NOW. One more thing from that little brat and that is what I will be doing.
If I found out one of my kids was doing this to another child, my child would have HELL to pay for their behavior. To start I would march them over to the house of the person they bullied and they would be apologizing face to face with a gift.
This needs to stop right now, what is your advise to me and my wife? What are our options? Any teachers here? Thank you.
