sister sent this text just now: "She will have a liver biopsy on Friday. Met with Drs at Huntsman and need more tests but looks like it's in several spots on the liver so not able to cut it out. Also appears to have spots in stomach also." This is a follow-up to my OP on Saturday (linked below) that my sister had a mass/tumor on her colon that had metastasized to the liver, and is likely cancer.
To my medically uneducated mind, this doesn't sound good. Is it cause for concern, or is it still within the realm of realistically thinking there could still be more positive news and to just wait for more firm test results? My wife is saying not to react emotionally until we have all the official test results, but it's just hard not to when it's your sister you're talking about. Granted, they haven't officially confirmed cancer yet, though at this point it's the most likely possibility.
