But as a culture builder, I think he’s top notch. If he surrounds himself with great assistants, especially coordinators, and lets them do their job, then he could succeed. Can he make himself into a CEO that directs an organization but not the details? Getting the best QB to come into the league since Andruw Luck certainly helps, and is I’m sure the motivation for his interest.
I suspect he’s negotiating for total control over personnel too. That could be a mistake, as lots of guys want the same control and fail as a result. That can be too much for some.
