Are credit cards a currency, then? Personal checks?
Bitcoin is both a transaction platform (but not a great one) and a store of value. But that doesn’t make it a currency.
I guess this is probably why there’s a new categorization of “cryptocurrencies” and why they’re not just called “currencies.”
