If she's interested in science and the human body those could be great
things to pursue. I like giving kids stuff they're interested in, but not pushing them where it comes to interests.

If she doesn't waver from that, she should consider a school like UMKC.

Looking too far ahead, IMO. Focus on AP and ACT/SAT for now.

See if you can't find part-time work for her with someone in the field.

Much happier and satisfied than the lawyers I know, that's for sure 🙂

I knew at that age, and decades later I'm still doing it.

Me too. I decided in 7th grade what I wanted to do. Followed through with it. Still happy with my job.

Encourage your daughter to enjoy HS. Push her to be very social and to make lots of friends and to try new things.

Friends don't get you into college.. Clubs, Sports, and grades.

I feel bad for your daughter. Dixie and UVU will get any kid into medical school. They will get kids into the career

True, you could go anywhere from those schools. But look at the other stats.

Have her explore a wide variety of medical professions. Talk to, shadow, learn..

I’d suggest getting her to start volunteering early. At the hospital works great
