Yeah, home court didn't seem to do much for the Aztecs and Incas. Or even the
Poles. The Empire already had a presence on the planet, it's not like they didn't know their way around. It was wildly implausible, but who cares? It's a fantasy tale. It doesn't have to be plausible.
