2 passing TDs and a rushing TD coming your way in the 2nd half.
Taysom will get the ball back with :45 left - game tied. All of a sudden, you’ll see a man in a white coat approach Vic Fangio and whisper in his ear. Fangio will throw his hands in the air and say, “All of our corners just tested positive! Darn it (it is a Disney movie), I thought we could win this!”
#2 in orange enters the scene, visibly limping. “Coach, I played a little DB in middle school.” Fangio quietly says, “It would seem I’ve got no choice. Hinton, you’re writing checks your body can’t cash.”
Kendall Hinton: “I won’t let you down, coach.”
Fangio: “Well, get out there then!”
(The cardboard crowd starts a slow clap.)
Taysom comes to the line. Kendall Hinton crouches, just across the line from Michael Thomas. Fangio is in the background yelling, “NO! ZONE! ZONE! YOU CAN’T STAY WITH HIM, HINTON!”
The ball is snapped, and Thomas starts into his route - a skinny post. Hinton is with him, step for step. Tayson launches it on a beautiful arch. The camera focuses on the ball. Hinton stumbles, and Thomas catches it, sprinting towards the end zone. Hinton re-enters the screen, out of nowhere. HE STRIPS IT! In slow motion, the ball lands on the turf. The camera focuses on Hinton’s eyes. There’s a flashback of scenes, starting with him, as a child, playing in the backyard with his dad.
The second half is starting. That’s all I’ve got.
