once the game would be announced, they both would know at the same time

Thus, equal amount of preparation time.

Baylor would come with the advantage of being more rested, and BYU would come in with the advantage of already having a live game under their belt.

But if its now almost end of the workday Wednesday and not announced, we can safely assume this game is not happening.
