So he hasn't had the opportunity to game plan for the triple option...
There are what 3-4 div 1 schools that run this? It's not common and shouldn't be a surprise that he hasn't had to game plan for it...

So if we put our D into punt formation on 3rd down, that is likely to work better than using our regular D.
