Fasting is very healthy and we generally eat way too much. Absurdly too much (3x+ a day, etc.) Lots of YT videos on the subject. Jason Fung is really good. Encourage anyone to check him out to better understand the benefits and the science.
People freak out thinking they can’t but I think they’d be surprised that they can — assuming fat adaption is in place beforehand. Psychological aspect is much harder than the physical once you’re days in. And there is really nothing to worry about until you’re 5+days in where you should be smart about the refeed and probably should be supplementing some key electrolytes. It’s very healthy and potentially healing for every age group and profile.
