He might not have a perfect record but that would be more function of

not being familiar with the uniqueness of the program and its strengths or weaknesses and being limited to "rules".

But with the talent this team has year in and year out, there is no way he ever would have a less than double digit win season. Just with him being the headman of the program recruiting would instantly be top 40 regardless of it being BYU and its built-in recruiting disadvantages.
